I knew nature was alive and it seemed the adults in my life were leaving a lot of the important stuff out. From an early age I had memories of and running through the trees barefoot, wearing native clothing and and a respect for nature. I would spend hours in the woods remembering these things and communing with nature and insisting upon wearing braids. Much to the dismay of my parents, I also felt a strong draw to India and even though my mother called them heathens, I loved the people instantly as my heart reached out to them, longing to go there, to be among my people.
When I was around 8 years old I dreamt of going to Australia and playing with the koalas. I spent several days there and we had a wonderful time. When I woke from that dream, I remembered how detailed it was, how real it felt, how I learned things about them that I didn't know before and I wondered how that was possible. Now I understand this is referred to astral traveling and most of us experience these real dreams on a pretty regular basis, even if we don't remember them.
I have been on this journey my whole life. As a child, on many different occassions, while playing in the woods or riding on my bike I would ask God to give me great wisdom. please grant me wisdom first so I can handle the knowledge when it comes.
My very strict Christian parents were and still are convinced that demons are lurking around every corner and I have learned over the years how we draw to us what we are focused upon. The more my parents heard of my experiences, the more fear surrounded us and because of my sensitivity, my experiences became very scary and turned into years of nightmares.
When I moved out of my parent's home, it took about 2 weeks for the nightmares to stop and my life began to open to all the beauty around me. My dreams turned into powerful messages, taking me into unknown realities and opening my eyes to the inner truths of existence. I gained understanding and astrally visited powerful locations that brought an inner strength and knowing. It's through these experiences that I have come to connect with my inner knowing.
Of course, the process of cleansing all those implanted programs out of my energy was long and tedious. It required years of examining each thought, each belief and each idea until I had sifted everything through my heart, finding the truth within.
I was around 30 years old when I experienced the rolling laughter of the Creator and realized that the Great Spirit is complete & pure love. There is no judgement, no damnation, no anger, no hostility, etc... from this Being. It is perfect love, absolute joy and waves of laughter. This personal experience brought the understanding of Divine love into my conscious awareness.
I honor all as created and held within the joyful expression of love and beauty that I refer to as Creator/God/Goddess or any of the other thousands of names that can be used for this Divine presence.
